CHG Spring 2021 Update

As the season changes and in time for Easter, we thought an update from the The Charlestown History Group would be useful.

We’ve been busy over the winter continuing to set up The Charlestown History Group and preparing for its, more public, emergence after lockdown. If Covid 19 restrictions allow, we hope to host our first public event and get stuck into some on the ground projects later this summer. You can keep up to date here on our web page or by joining us on Facebook or Instagram.

Look out also very soon for some exciting news on progress with the Community Archive Project and thanks to everyone who helped us get this off to a great start by making a crowdfunding donation. We still have more we’d like to do so please consider helping us if you can. Any donations will be put to great use protecting Charlestown’s history. Thankyou.
