We only fly a flag from the Gun Battery, high over Charlestown, on a few special days in the year. Why not add to it with this unique way to mark your special occasion? Be it a gift for a birthday or to remember a loved one, we’ll raise a flag and fly it all day and also display the details of the occasion on our website and on a board beside the road where the coast path leads off to the Battery.
In order to secure your flag fly day, we ask that you make a donation to the funds of the Charlestown History Group so that we can continue to protect Charlestown’s history.
